Bring Learning to Life

Breathe New Hampshire's free Lending Library offers hands-on educational materials that help make tobacco prevention, vaping education, lung disease awareness, and respiratory health topics engaging and memorable.

Available to schools, colleges, healthcare organizations,Bronchus Model -  A four-stage cross-section of the bronchus showing the tissue changes occurring in asthma and chronic bronchitis.  Includes an educational card identifying the four stages with images and descriptions of each stage.  Measures 1 1/2  x 4". businesses, and community groups throughout New Hampshire, our collection includes interactive models, displays, videos, and educational tools designed to support classroom learning, community presentations, health fairs, and professional training.


Borrowing Materials

Borrowing materials is simple.

  • Loan Period: Up to one week
  • Maximum Checkout: Five items at a time
  • Pickup & Return: Breathe New Hampshire office
  • Shipping: Available upon request at the borrower's expense. Some materials cannot be shipped due to their size, weight, or fragile nature.

Interactive Models

Hands-on educational tools that help participants better understand tobacco use, lung disease, and respiratory health. 

Lou-Wheeze® Smoker's Lungs

An interactive model comparing a healthy lung and a diseased lung. Participants use a hand pump to see how lung damage affects breathing.

Mr. Gross Mouth

A hands-on display showing the harmful effects of smokeless tobacco on the mouth, teeth, and gums.

Tar Jar

A visual demonstration showing the amount of tar that can accumulate from smoking over time.

Bronchus Model

A four-stage cross-section model demonstrating changes in the airways associated with asthma and chronic bronchitis.

TB Skin Test Reaction Arm

A model used to demonstrate various skin reactions associated with tuberculosis testing.

Empathy Lungs COPD Simulator

A wearable simulator that helps participants experience the shortness of breath associated with COPD and other respiratory conditions. Ideal for healthcare education, caregiver training, and awareness programs.

Secondhand Smoke: A Matter of Life or Breath

Grades 7–12
Explains the health risks associated with secondhand smoke exposure.

Teacher guides and classroom activities are included with available video resources.
