One Day/Two Day Ride & Routes: May 15 & 16, 2010
The Seacoast Bike Tour™ offers a one day Saturday ride as well as a two day ride that continues on Sunday. Because this is not a race, individuals of all abilities are encouraged to take the challenge at their own pace.
Day one’s route begins in Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH and winds up the coast through beautiful oceanside communities closing with an overnight in historic Ogunquit, ME. Day two brings you inland through scenic country roads and back to Portsmouth to celebrate your success with food and finish line festivities.
We offer different route options to cater to various abilities. On Saturday choose from the following routes: 25 miles, 42 miles & 56 miles. Riders who opt for the One Day ride will be brought back to Portsmouth on Saturday evening after the dinner and festivities. Sunday’s routes include 35 miles and 53 miles.
Weekend Festivities: This event offers more than just cycling! After your ride, enjoy some great food and live music at both Saturday and Sunday finish lines. Massage therapists are also on hand to ease your weary muscles. Take a dip in the indoor pool and hot tub at Saturday's finish line! Enter to win some fantastic raffles including bicycling gear, sports memorabilia, gift certificates to local restaurants, gift baskets and more! Special 25th anniversary festivities are in the works so please check back for additional fun happenings for this year's event.
