The quality of the air we breathe both indoors and outdoors has an impact on our individual health, particularly our respiratory health. Unfortunately, the air we breathe is being polluted everyday by cars and trucks, burning coal and oil, and even small activities like filling your car with gas or dry cleaning your clothes. Air pollution affects all of us and it is important that we be conscious of the things that impact the quality of the air we breathe both inside and outside.
Indoor Air
The air inside a home or building can be much more polluted than the air outdoors. Indoor air pollution can be a real concern because we spend as much as 90 percent of our time indoors, and 60 percent of our time at home.
